Q: What are the differences between a Shared and Reseller plan? A shared plan is designed for hosting one or more domains under the same account. All resources of the plan will dedicate on the one single account. It allows you to host multiple domains through the use of domain pointers, but all the domains will share the same control panel, email accounts, diskspace, bandwidth, etc. If you are only hosting your own websites, then a shared plan is perfect for you.
A Reseller account, on the other hand, is designed to give you similar power and flexibility of a web hosting company. You will be able to create multiple accounts for your clients, and allocate different amount of diskspace/bandwidth to the accounts. Each of the account will have access to a branded control panel, and is seperate from the other accounts, unlike a domain pointer. If you want to be a web hosting company for a low cost, then a Reseller plan is your choice.
