Q: Why don't you offer Telnet access? What is SSH? We have disabled Telnet access due to the fact that it provides no security whatsoever. For your data and our server's security, we now offer secured shell (SSH) access which allows the same capabilities in a secured environment.
SSH is a secured shell protocol which encrypts all commands and data transmitted between you and our server. To use SSH, you may download a free recommended SSH client at: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
and Contact support to obtain the SSH port for your connection. Back to Account Features |
