To manage and
upload your files to your web hosting account, the
following tools are supported by each of our hosting
plans. FTP
(File Transfer Protocol)
This is one
of the most popular, quickest method to upload and
manage your files. To utilize this feature, you will
either need a FTP client such as CoreFTP,
or execute FTP command lines. To connect to your account,
you will need your server's IP, which will be given
to you once your account is setup, as well as your
account username and password. Please upload all
your files to /public_html once you are connected. Online
File Manager
If you do
not have access to FTP, you may use our online file
manager which is located in our control
panel. The Online File Manager is a
browser-based user-interface which allows you to
manage your files easily. SSH
(Secured Shell)
This is a
more advanced tool, which allows you to connect to
your account using command line, where you may
execute shell commands to manage your account.
SSH is similar to Telnet, except all data is
transferred in a encrypted, secured method. Microsoft
FrontPage Extensions
If you use
FrontPage for creating your websites, you may also
use it to publish your website. However this must be
enabled, for free and easily in our control
panel.
FrontPage 98, 2000, XP and 2003 are all supported.
